Counting Turkeys! (no—–REALLY!)

They say turkeys eat ticks, so they are “good guys”.  Which is fine.  But they are noisy and messy in large flocks – which is what we have now.  All the little guys have grown up, can fly, and gather in trees to cackle at whatever walks below.  They march around the fields non stop and seem to enjoy the hot and humid days.  They are always moving which makes it hard to count them.   There always seem to be a large bird in the front of the group and a large bird in the back.  In between there are often over 15 young ones.  It is entertaining, for sure!
